The Importance of Support

Happy Thursday!

I am so, so happy tomorrow is Friday! What are you doing this weekend? Any big plans? I plan on working on a bunch of blogging “homework” and getting some wonderful content together for the next few weeks.

I know the past 2 days I have been talking about Blogtober and the Last 90 Days. Today I wanted to talk to you about the importance of having a support system. That may seem like a weird topic jump to some but to me they all seem connected. As I have been reading through Facebook posts on either of those topics, one of the biggest correlations is the lack of support some of these lovely people are dealing with. One person in-particular is dealing with having a partner who is basically adverse to all the changes she is attempting to implement during these Last 90 Days. Another is dealing with resentment from her family as she is attempting to participate in Blogtober and produce quality content. As I was reading these posts all I could think about is how sad I felt for these wonderful individuals. Here they are trying to better themselves and do something they are passionate about and what do they get for it- adversity and pushback! It is frustrating from an outsiders perspective so I cannot even imagine how that feels for them.

However, along with frustration comes gratitude, I am appreciative that they are sharing their stories because it is allowing others to step up and give them the support they are so deserving of during this time. Their posts also make me more appreciative of the support system that I have in Damiean and my family. As I have been prepping for the Last 90 Days and working on my blog so it was prepared for a new season of blogging, they have all stepped up to support me in different ways. While I do like to think that I can do everything on my own, I can’t. We all need support!

If you are thinking to yourself that maybe you could use a little more support to make it through whatever challenges or changes you are facing, connect with someone! I know, I know that is sometimes easier said then done but it is important. A good place to start? Right here! I would love to cheer you on and support you.
