Friday Favorites 10/4/19
Happy Friday Everyone! I am so excited it is finally the end of the week. Damiean and I are both off this weekend so it will be nice to spend some time together vegging out on the couch. I do have some awesome projects that I am going to be working on for the blog and I cannot wait to share them with you!

Todays Friday Favorite is…The Billie Razor! (P.S.- This is not an ad or a sponsored post just my opinion on a great product!)
If you have scrolled through Facebook or Instagram lately, I’m sure you may have seen an ad for this amazing razor. I know my feed was bombarded with a variety of advertisements and while I usually just keep scrolling, there was something about this ad that stuck out to me. After seeing it a few more times I realized it was that the women in the ads actually had body hair!!! How many razor commercials do we see where the ladies in question are already as hairless as a Naked Mole Rat? I mean no offense by that I am just simply stating my observation. To get started it is $9.00 + tax, with free shipping. No only is the price super reasonable, Billie also donates 1% of every purchase to women’s causes around the world. It took about a week for my package to arrive and I practically ran to the mail box when I got the notification it had arrived!
The packaging is super cute and everything comes in this awesome resealable bag that is super easy to throw under the bathroom sink!
The razor itself is really light-weight and has 5 blades. I chose the Dream Pop option because pink is my favorite color but there are quite a few options.
One of the coolest aspects, in my opinion, is the magnetic holder. It may seem silly but it is so much nicer to be able to hang it up on the wall to dry instead of laying it on a shelf in the shower. Also, it stays put! I have had mine hanging up for about a week in the shower and it hasn’t fallen once!
Ordering Process
The entire process to get started is really simple and easy to complete. First off you will choose the color option you would like for your razor.
Next, you’ll answer a simple question regarding how often you shave. Below each option it does let you know how often delivery would occur.
One nice option is that you can make changes to the frequency at anytime. This is great because let’s be honest…Winter is coming!
The next step is to choose if you want anything extra, such as the shave cream, body lotion, body wash or waterproof carrying case. While I did not add any of these options to my order, they are reasonably priced between $8-$12.
The last step of the process is to verify your order and submit! The review page will also show the upcoming shipments you will be expecting as well as what is currently in your cart.
My Experience
Now for the important stuff! This razor is amazing! I literally cannot say enough good things about my experience using it. I have incredibly sensitive skin and usually have to deal with nicks and cuts as well as razor burn regularly. I was so excited when I got out of the shower and my legs were completely bump and cut free. As for the razor itself, it is super lightweight and really does navigate curves. I have never had a shaver feel like it was completely in contact with my skin for the entire leg and usually wind up having to re-shave my knees and ankles a few times to make sure I didn’t miss any patches. Full disclosure- I have totally been out and about having fun only to realize I missed a section of my leg that is now shining in the sunlight! Since I started using Billie, I have not had that experience and I am happy to say that I couldn’t be happier to be able to venture out in shorts comfortably and without worry!
Bottom line: I would highly recommend this shaver to anyone who asks and pretty much anyone who didn’t as well.
