Why I’m Doing 75 Sparkle (And How I’m Making It Work For Me)

Okay, so let me tell you about this thing I’m doing. It’s called 75 Sparkle, and before you roll your eyes thinking it’s another one of those intense, no-days-off, all-or-nothing challenges… hear me out. Because this? This is different.
What Even Is 75 Sparkle?
If you’ve heard of 75 Hard or 75 Soft, you’re already halfway there. But while those challenges are all about pushing through and strict rules, 75 Sparkle is about something else entirely—it’s about glowing up in a way that actually feels sustainable and, dare I say, joyful.
For the next 75 days, I’m committing to habits that make me feel like the best version of myself. Not the version that wakes up at 4 AM and does cold plunges (God bless those people, but that’s not my vibe). The version that feels good in her own skin, has energy for the things that matter, and doesn’t want to hide from mirrors or photos.
Why I’m Choosing to Participate
Here’s the thing: I’ve done the super strict challenges before. The ones where if you miss one single thing, you have to start all over from day one. And you know what? They made me feel terrible. Like I was constantly one mistake away from failure. That’s not growth—that’s just stress with a fitness tracker.
I’m choosing 75 Sparkle because it’s designed around progress, not perfection. It’s about building habits that actually stick instead of white-knuckling through something unsustainable just to say I did it. I want to look back 75 days from now and see someone who genuinely feels better—not just someone who checked boxes and burned out.
Plus, can we talk about the name? 75 Sparkle. It’s giving “I’m going to glow up AND enjoy the process.” It’s giving “self-care meets self-improvement.” It’s giving exactly the energy I want to bring into the rest of this year.
My 75 Sparkle Plan
So here’s what my 75 Sparkle looks like. Your version might look totally different, and that’s the beauty of it—you get to choose what makes YOU sparkle.
Movement That Feels Good
I’m committing to 45 minutes of movement every day, but here’s the key: it has to be something I actually enjoy. Some days that’s a morning walk while the Arizona sunrise does its thing. Other days it might be dancing in my kitchen or a yoga flow. The point is to move my body in ways that feel good, not punishing.
Nourishment Over Restriction
Instead of cutting out entire food groups or counting every calorie, I’m focusing on adding in more of the good stuff. More water (like, actually enough water). More colorful foods. More meals that make me feel energized instead of sluggish. I’m not banning anything—I’m just being more intentional.
Skincare & Self-Care
This is the “sparkle” part, people! I’m actually doing my skincare routine morning and night. I’m taking time for the little things that make me feel put-together. Because here’s a secret: when you feel good about how you look, it changes how you show up in the world.
Mind Glow-Up
Ten minutes a day for something that feeds my brain—reading, journaling, meditation, learning something new. This is about growing as a person, not just shrinking my waistline.
Rest & Recovery
And here’s the revolutionary part: I’m counting rest as part of the challenge. Good sleep. Actual downtime. Because you can’t glow if you’re burnt out.
The Difference This Time
What I love about 75 Sparkle is the grace built into it. If I have a day where I don’t hit every single goal? I don’t have to start over from zero. I just pick back up the next day. Because that’s how real life works. We’re not robots, and treating ourselves like we should be is exactly how we end up quitting everything.
I’m also not making this an all-consuming thing. I’m not posting about it 24/7 or making it my whole personality. This is for me. The sparkle is an inside job that happens to show up on the outside too.
Come Sparkle With Me?
I’m sharing this not because I think everyone should do exactly what I’m doing, but because maybe you’ve been feeling the same way I have—like you want to level up without burning out. Like you want to glow up without giving up everything that makes you feel human.
If you’re thinking about starting your own version of 75 Sparkle, here’s my advice: make it yours. Choose habits that light you up, not just habits that sound impressive. Build in grace for the hard days. Focus on how you want to FEEL, not just how you want to look.
I’m excited about this journey, and I’ll probably share updates along the way (the good, the bad, and the “why is this so hard some days”). But mostly? I’m just excited to see what happens when I show up for myself consistently, with kindness, for 75 days.
Let’s sparkle, friends. ✨
Have you ever done a challenge like this? What made it work (or not work) for you? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
xoxo,
Lindsey
P.S. – If you want to follow along with my 75 Sparkle journey, I’ll be sharing little updates here and there. But don’t worry, I promise not to become one of those people who makes it their entire personality. 😂
