Hey Everyone! It’s finally Thursday which means we only need to make it through one more day before the weekend is here again. I don’t know about where you live but here in AZ it is hot, hot hot. That being said I am always …
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are all having a wonderful and safe holiday weekend.
Today, my sister, my main squeeze and I will be celebrating at home with swimming and a BBQ. There are a ton of yummy red, white and blue desserts made already for when it is time to watch fireworks. When I was putting them on prettier plates I figured I would share a quick and easy dessert recipe.
4th Of July Rice Cereal Treats
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Butter
1 bag of mini Marshmallows
5 cups of Rice Cereal
Sprinkles
Instructions:
The firs step when making these yummy treats is to melt the butter.

The next step is to melt the marshmallows with the butter. I prefer to melt the marshmallows and butter down until it is smooth.
Once the butter and marshmallows are melted, you can add rice cereal one cup at a time and stir.
I always throw in a few extra marshmallows at the end once it is all mixed.
After everything is mixed you will need a 9X13 in pan to put them into. Make sure to grease the pan before pouring in the rice cereal treat mix. Once it has been poured, grease the back of a metal spatula to press the rice cereal flat then add sprinkles!

Once those have been allowed to set for a little while they can be cut and enjoyed!
I hope all of you have a happy and safe 4th Of July!
