Books I Love

My October Reading List

Good Morning!

It is finally Thursday and what a week so far! How is yours going?

I am finally feeling back to somewhat normal today and happy to say that I am on the mend. I am still winding down on some medication from the infection I was dealing with but nowhere near the amount I was on before.

Yesterday I shared with out my October goals. I purposely left off reading because I wanted to focus on that separately.

Since I am trying to be much more intentional about the way I live my life and wanting to take better care of myself both mentally and physically, I decided to pick some books that would fit into that criteria. While I still might cycle a few “for fun” books into the mix, these are the books I am for sure reading this month.

  1. You are a BADASS by Jen Sincero.

This book has always jumped out at me from the Target shelves but I never picked it up because in my head, by doing so I was just adding extra pressure on myself to not only read the book but also to apply it to my everyday life. I will say I am actually excited to break this one open and start working to a better more badass version of myself!

2. Grace Not Perfection by Emily Ley

This book stood out to me not only because of the beautiful cover but also because of the message. Like most women I know, I strive everyday for perfection only to find myself falling short. The message with this book is that you should allow yourself the grace to make mistakes and live your life on your own terms while still being yourself.

3. Staying Stylish by Candace Cameron Bure

I will admit I am a huge fan of Candace and a sucker for each and every one of her Hallmark movies! I will also admit that if I had to choose one person that was my “goals” it would be her or Reese Witherspoon! I love the idea of this book and am so excited to start reading through and learning more about Staying Stylish.

I will be sure to review each of these books toward the end of the month so that I can share with you what I think.

Have you read one of these books? What did you think?
