It’s The Last 90 Days!!

Hey Everyone!

I hope you had an amazing Tuesday. I am currently in the midst of doing some recipe development for the blog that I cannot wait to share with you. I’ll give you a hit: Pumpkin and Chocolate are involved.

In case you didn’t know, today is the first day of October, which means it is the start of the last 90 days of the year. If you have followed me for any length of time, you know that Rachel Hollis is one of my favorite people. One of the awesome things that she puts on each year is the Last 90 Days Challenge.

If you are unfamiliar with the Last 90 Days Challenge, it is amazing!! Basically, the idea is that the last 90 days are some of the most stressful of the year and that can lead to poor decision making. With the promise of a “fresh start” coming on January 1st, people tend to treat these last couple of months of the year as a throw-away. That’s where the Last 90 Days Challenge comes in! Instead of focusing on that fresh start once the clock strikes midnight, this challenge forces you to elevate yourself before the countdown begins. Each day you are striving for your Five to Thrive and helping yourself get one step closer to your goals.

What is the Five to Thrive you ask? Good question!

I love the idea that these rules are the “Golden” rules and small goals that you are setting for yourself to not only feel better but help you thrive.

Now you may be asking yourself, how do I hold myself accountable for these items for the next few months. Another amazing question! The best part about this challenge, you are not alone. There are amazing Facebook groups that you can join and get to know like minded people who are navigating through this challenge. Here’s One and Here is Another

Another great asset to your success is Rach and Dave themselves! Every morning there is they host an amazing morning show on social media, in addition to that, you can find them in your email box every Monday giving you a new challenge along with some fire inspiration to keep crushing it!

In the files of these groups and also on Pinterest there are a ton of resources to help you feel motivated to drink more water, tips and tricks on how to get up earlier everyday without feeling like a zombie and so much more!

I, personally, am so excited for this years challenge because we are starting a new DECADE come 2020! I am approaching this challenge with fire but also with grace. It took me a little bit to come up with exactly how I wanted to hold myself accountable but also not beat myself up if life happens. When I reflected upon that further I realized that is the whole point of this challenge. Not only is it helping me reach my goals and become the best version of myself, it is also assisting me with putting together tools that I can utilize when life throws me a curve ball.
