Tangaroa Terrace- Breakfast
Happy Thursday!
We have almost made it through another week! How has yours been so far? Mine has been busy but I am so glad that tax time is over with.
I have so much to tell you but today I wanted to share with you my experience at Tangaroa Terrace located at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim.
When my family and I visit Disneyland, we usually have spots that we frequent for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The last time we visited, we decided to try something new and venture outside of the resorts!
After seeing quite a few posts on Instagram and Facebook about the new menu at the Tangaroa terrace, we were sold!
If you aren’t familiar with the layout of the Disneyland Hotel, this restaurant is pretty much located right in the middle of the hotel property near the pool. If you still have trouble finding it, the blue information signs located around the property will point you in the right direction.
Upon arriving, my first impression was that this place looked so cute and relaxing. The tropical atmosphere combined with the beautiful weather definitely did a great job of making you feel like you had been transported to another world.
Disney always does a wonderful job with the little details and this location is not any different.
Colorful murals and tiki statutes really helped with the tropical immersion.
One thing I really like about this location is that it is, in my opinion, a great quick service option. While you can walk up and purchase grab and go items to eat there or take back to hotel room, you also have the option to order your food and have it brought to your table.
Another wonderful option is the walk-up coffee bar, Dole Whip express window and the walk up bar should you be craving something a little stronger than coffee.
We opted to actually utilize both options with some of us ordering off the menu and some of us picking up some quick serve items.
The breakfast menu is pretty versatile and even with different tastes amongst everyone in my family, we were all able to find something to enjoy.
Sydnee and I enjoyed the DELICIOUS Pineapple Upside-Down Pancakes with fruit and bacon. They serve them with maple syrup on the side and if 1 or 2 containers happen not be enough, there is a condiment bar inside the restaurant itself to pick up any additional items you might need.
My mom and dad opted to try the breakfast platter which offered some delicious hash browns, eggs, bacon and fruit.
One of my favorite things about this restaurant is that the service is really quick. We had our food in less than 10 minutes!
Cierra tried the quick-serve chocolate croissant and said it was amazing. Not only does it have the buttery texture you love and expect, it is filled and drizzled with chocolate.
I would highly, highly recommend this restaurant! We did not have one complaint about the food and the location was absolutely gorgeous! Another great aspect is that it was not very busy even though there was a dance competition going on , on site! We will definitely be heading back soon!
