Friday Favorite- Reusable Makeup Removing Pads
Happy Friday!
I am so excited to say that we made it to Friday. This week has felt entirely too long and I am excited to spend another few days at home relaxing. I am trying to get back into the swing of consistently posting because I missed you guys big time!
Today, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite items I have been using lately- reusuable makeup removing pads!! FYI- This is not an ad! While their may be affiliate links in this post, all opinions and thoughts are my own.
When I was pregnant I was looking for ways to cut down on exposure to anything that might not be good for the baby and also cut down on waste. I decided to check Amazon and found these beauties.
There wasn’t a ton of reviews but my figuring was that for 16 of them I was spending around $10.00 so even if I hated them it was not too much money wasted.
On average, my daily make up routine consists of concealer, blush/bronzer, eye shadow, eye liner and mascara.
The biggest draw for me was that these pads would only need water to remove the makeup without me worrying about exposure to potentially hazardous toxins. However, if you were wanting to use a cleanser, you can!
Once I ordered these pads, they arrived a day later. I pre-washed them just in case and then was ready to use!
The pads come in a mesh bag that can be utilized for washing in the washing machine.
The makeup remover pads are 9.5 cm/ 3.74 inch diameter. They are advertised as being able to be used over 3,00 times.
The first night I used these pads, I was pleasantly surprised at how well they worked. I was able to use 2 pads to remove every piece of makeup! My skin felt soft and clean after using and I was happy to just be able to toss the pad right into the mesh bag to be washed later.
I would highly recommend these makeup remover pads and have pretty much talked about them to everyone who will listen!
